Maiden flight. Had to end it early since the transmitter battery was getting low. Made from plans from here with slight modifications.
A paraglider was out having some fun as well. My fun ended early when the prop came off and the motor came off the mount (not sure which happened first). Luckily I was doing a low pass over some tall grass at the time.
I'm not sure what happened on this takeoff, but somehow worked out just fine. I did take the gyro out so that may be part of the issue there, just need to make sure I'm not lifting the wing up so much when releasing from a side-arm launch. I make a really close flyby at the end of the flight.
